About

I have built production software for more than twenty years. I started at Verizon, where I built an internal learning platform for a large customer service organization and was promoted to team lead. I went on to Citibank as a solutions architect and then to AdTheorent, where I led platform development for a real-time advertising system and managed distributed teams.

I then joined a federal contractor as technical lead. I supported the modernization of a mission-critical system, built an AI-assisted platform for proposal responses and a retrieval help assistant, and automated the sync of HR data to a careers site.

In December 2024 I founded FirstCoast.ai, an AI engineering consultancy in Jacksonville, Florida. I design and run production AI systems and web applications for small and mid-sized businesses, and I keep one contract client from my earlier work.

How I work

I write decisions down. Business facts live in one source that every agent and page reads from, and a written rule keeps them in sync when something changes.

Plans get a second opinion. A second model reviews each plan before I build, and every finding is accepted or rejected in writing.

People approve what leaves the building. Agents draft, and a person sends.
